This was a project where we had to make something to enhance or assist emotion/guestures. I thought about those dance board instructions to help you do the waltz etc. and just costmized it to create many stances of different character emotions. From the Beauty Queen, to the Sumo Wrestler, to the Chaplin, to the Shy stance. Made with Acrylics on Canvas. Here I am performing it in front of class. (Sorry it’s sideways)
An idea from Simon Wald-Lasowski for some business magazine. I just painted the painting of the business man. Thought it was cute, that’s why I’m posting it. Thanks for the gig Simon!
This was one of our first projects where we used an object/sculpture to introduce who we are. They’re reminiscent of Dutch wooden shoes or Klompjes but instead of wood they are made completely out of rubber bicycle tire. A play on the Peruvian/Dutch conundrum. They totally fit me and function, although I look a bit Mickey mouse wearing them.
